Returns
At Cupcakedozen, we want you to be happy with your order. If a product does not fully meet your expectations, that is no problem: you can easily return it via your customer account.
Would you like to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason? That falls under your statutory right of withdrawal and is quickest via the withdrawal function. You can read more about this on our Right of withdrawal page.
How returns work
- Log in to your account. Go to your account or click the profile icon in the shop. Enter your email address and confirm with the 6-digit verification code you receive by email.
- Select your order. In your overview you will see all your orders. Click the three dots next to the relevant order and choose 'Request return'.
- Choose items. Select the items you want to return. For multiple items you can select a reason per product and add a note if you wish.
- Confirm. Click 'Request return'. You will receive a confirmation by email straight away. After approval, we will send you the return instructions.
- Refund. Once we have received and checked your return, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days via your original payment method.
Return period
- At Cupcakedozen, you always have a 30-day return period.
- Within the first 14 days after receipt, you can cancel your order without giving a reason (statutory right of withdrawal, see the Right of withdrawal page).
- After that, you have an additional 16 days from us to register and send back your return.
- In total you therefore have 30 days to register and return your order.
Important conditions
- Please always include the packing slip or invoice.
- The cost of return shipping is at your own expense.
- Within the first 14 days (statutory right of withdrawal), you may unpack and inspect a product as you would in a shop. If you handle it more than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may offset any reduction in value against your refund.
- For our voluntary extended return period (days 15 to 30), we ask that products are unused and in resaleable condition.

Exceptions
The following items cannot be returned under the statutory right of withdrawal:
- Personalised or custom-made products (such as printed packaging).
- Sealed products whose seal has been broken after delivery and which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene.
Damaged or incorrect delivery?
Please check your order soon after receipt. Is something damaged or delivered incorrectly? Let us know within 48 hours at info@cupcakedozen.nl, so we can find a suitable solution quickly. Of course, we will still help you afterwards with your statutory rights.
Exchanges
Would you like a different product? Please return your item first and then simply place a new order.
For business customers (B2B)
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers. Returns are only possible after prior consultation and under specific conditions.
