Eid Mubarak cupcake insert: the celebration starts when the box opens

After a month of fasting, Eid is the moment when things are handed out in earnest. Family in the house, neighbours dropping by, boxes going out of the door. This insert for 10 cupcakes holds those ten in an open wreath around a gold ornament carrying the greeting Eid Mubarak. Lift the lid and the celebration is there, with nothing left for you to arrange.

The artwork is soft dove blue and cream, with painted blooms in blue and white, gold lanterns, fine sprigs and a crescent moon below the greeting. Understated and warm at the same time, and calm enough to let your own cupcakes take the show. This design was made exclusively for Cupcakedozen.nl.

Ten cut outs that hold your cupcakes in place

The ten openings are die cut to fit standard cupcakes in a baking cup. They sit just below the rim, stand upright and will not slide into each other on the way. Exactly what you want with a tall buttercream swirl that has to arrive intact at the family you are delivering to. The ornament in the centre stays clear, so the greeting stays readable even with all ten places filled.

Upright edges of 20 mm for a calmer box

This insert has an upright edge of 20 mm all round. That edge stiffens the sheet across its full width and keeps the insert seated in the box instead of sliding about. Crumbs and stray sprinkles stay inside the rim. You fold the edges up yourself, since the inserts are supplied flat and take up almost no room in your stockroom.

Fits three boxes you probably already stock

With a base of 297 x 297 mm the insert drops straight into our 30 x 30 cm boxes. Choose the 30x30x15 cm cake box with awning window if you want the wreath visible at once, or the black pastry box 30x30x9 cm or the kraft pastry box 30x30x9 cm if you prefer to finish with a sticker or a ribbon.

Useful twice a year

Eid Mubarak is the greeting at Eid al Fitr, at the end of Ramadan, and just as much at Eid al Adha later in the year. So this insert earns its place on two occasions instead of one, which makes a larger single order easier to justify than two small ones.

Board that is allowed to touch your bakes

The insert is made from solid bleached board of 400 gsm, printed full colour on the top side with low migration ink and varnished across that entire face. That varnished printed side is the food contact side and is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods such as cake. Single use, not suitable for oven or microwave.
