Black Cake Box with Window 30x30x9 cm (10 Pack)

This black pastry box, 30 x 30 x 9 cm, gives your cake or traybake an elegant, premium look. The box is printed black and varnished with a light inside, has a continuous window on top and at the front, and a separate front flap so you can pack neatly. You order in packs of 10.

Why a black pastry box?

Black makes colours pop: red fruit, gold decoration or green Christmas cupcakes stand out behind the window. Ideal for patisserie, the holidays, Halloween or a luxury corporate gift. The light inside shows the colours of your bakes true to life.

How does the separate front flap work?

Through the front flap you slide a cake on a 30 cm cake board in flat, instead of lowering it from above. Cakes up to about 28 cm fit. Finish the box with a satin ribbon, cord or a themed sticker. Prefer a natural look? Choose the kraft pastry box of 30 x 30 x 9 cm.

Can you carry cupcakes in it too?

Yes. Add a themed insert for 10 cupcakes: a card insert with raised edges that fits the base of this box, with a design for Easter, Christmas, Mother's Day, Ramadan or Eid. Through the front window you then see the cupcakes in a row. The inserts are not included with the box; you order them separately.

Material, food contact and disposal

Material: GC2 board 350 g/m², printed black and varnished, PET window. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as cakes up to 28 cm, traybakes or brownies, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.

Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window. The board (21 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

Does the black ink come into contact with the cake?

The box is printed black and varnished on the outside; the inside is light. According to my supplier's declaration, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods.

Can the box with its contents go in the freezer?

Yes, according to my supplier's specification this box is suitable for the freezer. Food contact has been assessed at room temperature or colder; oven and microwave are excluded.

How do you dispose of the box?

In the Netherlands the empty board (21 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard. Remove the PET window (01 PET) first; it goes with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.
