Box for 12 cupcakes - shop window (10 pcs)

This white box for 12 cupcakes, 34 x 26 x 10 cm, shows your cupcakes at their best: through the shop window with its scalloped awning edge your customer sees the whole set, and the card insert with 12 fully round holes of 6 cm keeps every cupcake upright and in place. You order 10 boxes with 10 inserts; cupcake cases and cupcakes are not included.

Why is this box for 12 cupcakes so easy to work with?

Because it was developed in the bakery. I designed this range myself, drawing on my own background as a baker. The lid stays open upright, so you can line up boxes side by side on your work surface, place the cupcakes inside and pipe them in the box. At 10 cm tall there is room for generous toppings and cupcake toppers, and the 350 g/m² board holds its shape. Bakers keep reordering these boxes.

Why are the holes in the insert round?

The holes are cut fully round, so every cupcake sits neatly and snugly in the insert. You will see the difference in the photos of your cupcakes on Instagram or your website.

Can you put a cake in the box?

Yes. Thanks to the pop-up click construction of the sides there are no side flaps folding inwards, not even when you leave out the insert. Without the insert it is a cake box of 34 x 26 x 10 cm for a number cake, letter cake or sheet cake. A white 34 x 26 cm cake board fits inside and is ordered separately.

How do you finish the box in your own style?

The plain white box is easy to finish in a theme with a satin ribbon, cord, a themed sticker or a sleeve. Prefer pink? This box is also available as a pink box for 12 cupcakes. The white shop window range has matching cupcake boxes and cake boxes, most of them in packs of 10. That way you do not need a large stock and can always pick the size you need.

Material, food contact and disposal

The box and the insert are made of GC2 board; for the box this is 350 g/m². The window is 50 micron PET. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as cupcakes with buttercream, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.

Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window from the lid. The box and insert (21 PAP) go with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) and the shrink film around the set with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

Frequently asked questions

Which cupcakes fit in the box for 12 cupcakes?

Standard cupcakes in cases of 51 x 38 mm fit in the 12 round holes of 6 cm. The box is 10 cm tall, so there is room for a generous topping or a cupcake topper as well.

Are cupcake cases or inserts included with the box?

The inserts are: you get 10 boxes with 10 inserts. Cupcake cases, cupcakes and decorations are ordered separately. Order matching cupcake cases with the boxes and you get an extra discount with a bundle deal.

Can you pipe the cupcakes inside the box?

Yes. The lid stays open upright, so you can place the cupcakes in the box and finish them there. Line the boxes up on your work surface and close them once everything is ready.

Can you put the box with cupcakes in the fridge?

Yes. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, food contact has been assessed at room temperature or colder. Oven and microwave are excluded.

How do you dispose of the box?

In the Netherlands the empty box and insert (21 PAP) go with paper and cardboard. Remove the PET window (01 PET) first; it goes with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.
