Product information
This kraft box for 1 cake slice, 14.4 x 8.5 x 9 cm, is triangular, so a slice of cake fits exactly and cannot slide. The lid closes the box completely, so it suits takeaway and delivery. You order in packs of 100.
Why a triangular box for a cake slice?
Because a slice of cake slides and tips over in a square box. In this triangular box the slice stays put, with the icing and decoration intact. You can sell single slices of your cakes, cheesecakes or tarts in store, at the market or by delivery.
What is the box made of?
Natural kraft-brown micro-flute corrugated board: a very fine corrugated board that is sturdy at a low weight of just over 16 g per box. The box has no window, so it goes in the paper recycling in one piece. More pastry boxes are in the pastry boxes.

Material, food contact and disposal
The box is made of micro-flute corrugated board, a very fine corrugated board that is sturdy at a low weight; one box weighs 16.30 g. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to the manufacturer's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with all kinds of food, dry, fatty, moist and acidic, up to 70 °C for a maximum of 2 hours. It meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.
Disposal in the Netherlands: the board (20 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard. Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

Can the cake slice go straight into the box?
Yes. According to the manufacturer's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with all kinds of food, including moist and fatty cake, up to 70 °C for up to 2 hours.
Does a tall slice fit?
The box is 9 cm tall. A slice of a cake up to about that height fits; taller cakes are best cut into lower slices.
How do you dispose of the box?
In the Netherlands the board (20 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard. Elsewhere, follow your local rules.
