Product information
This tall white cake box with a base of 40 x 40 x 30 cm is the largest cake box with window in my range: for wedding cakes, large tiered cakes and showpieces. The 420 g/m² board keeps the box sturdy, and through the window in the separate lid the cake stays on show. You order in packs of 25, delivered flat.
Which cakes is 40 x 40 x 30 cm for?
For cakes on a bottom tier of 35 to 40 cm: a three-tier wedding cake, a large tiered cake or a party showpiece. A Ø40 cm MDF cake board fits on the base and is ordered separately.
How do you set up the box?
The base sets up with card locking feet, then the separate lid goes over it. Because a large cake is heavy, always carry the box from underneath. Finish the box with a satin ribbon, cord or a themed sticker. Slightly smaller is the tall cake box of 35 x 35 x 30 cm.

Material, food contact and disposal
Material: GC2 board 420 g/m², PET window. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as wedding cakes with buttercream or fondant, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.
Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window. The board (21 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

Which cake board fits in the 40 cm tall cake box?
A Ø40 cm MDF cake board fits on the base. It is not included and is ordered separately.
Can you keep the cake in the box chilled?
Yes, food contact has been assessed at room temperature or colder, so the fridge or cold room is fine. This box is not intended for the freezer; oven and microwave are excluded.
How do you dispose of the box?
In the Netherlands the empty board (21 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard. Remove the PET window (01 PET) first; it goes with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.
