Product information

A cake that sticks to the tin is a waste of an afternoon. These More Liners, winner of the People's Choice Product of the Year 2023, put a layer between your batter and the tin, and they do it again and again: this is not a sheet of baking paper you throw away after one cake.

Each set contains a round base liner and a strip for the inside wall, so your tin is lined in one go. Available in six sizes, from 12 to 25 cm. In the Netherlands, only available from Cupcakedozen.nl.

These liners were already a favourite with bakers worldwide and went properly viral after a post by Tigga Mac, who was thrilled with the results.

Why bakers switch to these

  • Reusable, so no cutting baking paper for every cake
  • Clean by hand or in the dishwasher
  • One set per size: round base plus wall strip
  • PTFE non-stick coating on woven glass fibre
  • Suitable up to 220 °C, maximum 60 minutes per baking cycle
  • Six sizes, from 12 cm to 25 cm
  • In the Netherlands, only available from Cupcakedozen.nl

How to use them

Place the round liner on the base of your springform or cake tin and set the strip against the wall all the way round. Then fill the tin as you normally would. The liners are made for fatty and dry bakery products, including cake batter, cookie dough and the baked product itself. Keep 220 °C as the upper limit, with a maximum of 60 minutes per baking cycle.

Cleaning and replacing

Two options: by hand in warm water with a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge, or in the dishwasher for a thorough clean. Do not use abrasives or sharp utensils on the coating, because the non-stick layer will not survive that.

Replace the liner once the coating is visibly damaged, worn, peeling or cracked. That is the criterion the manufacturer gives; there is no fixed number of uses, because it depends on how you treat it.

What they are made of

Woven glass fibre, coated on both sides with a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) non-stick layer. PTFE is the functional layer that makes the release work, so it is deliberately there.

PFOA, PFOS and PFHxS are not intentionally added and were not detected within the analytical limits of the test report. We do not call these liners PFAS-free: PTFE is itself a fluoropolymer and falls within the broad PFAS definition. The supplier states that explicitly, and we pass it on rather than writing around it.

Suitable for food contact. The supplier declares that the product meets the general requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and is produced under the good manufacturing practice of Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006.

Frequently asked questions

How many times can I use a liner?

The manufacturer deliberately gives no number. The criterion is the state of the coating: replace the liner once it is visibly damaged, worn, peeling or cracked.

Can the liner go in the dishwasher?

Yes. Hand washing in warm soapy water works well, and for a thorough clean the liner can go in the dishwasher. What you should not do is scour it or use sharp utensils on the coating.

Which size do I need?

Measure the inside of your tin and pick the matching size. The sizes are 12, 15, 17.5, 20, 23 and 25 cm, which corresponds to 5 through 10 inches.

Do the liners contain PFAS?

Yes. The non-stick coating is PTFE, a fluoropolymer that falls within the broad PFAS definition. What the test does show: PFOA, PFOS and PFHxS were not detected. That is why we do not call this product PFAS-free.

Can I use them for cookies as well?

For cookies on a baking tray the reusable baking sheets of 40 x 30 cm are more practical, because they are cut to tray size.
