This pink box for 4 cupcakes, 18 x 18 x 10 cm, gives your cupcakes an instant festive look: the box is printed bright pink and varnished, and through the shop window with its scalloped awning edge four cupcakes stand upright in round holes. You order 10 boxes with 10 inserts; cupcake cases and cupcakes are not included.

Which occasions suit a pink cupcake box?

A baby shower, Mother's Day, Easter, a birthday or a hen party: the pink colour turns it into a gift without extra work. Because the box is already coloured, you often only need a satin ribbon, cord, a themed sticker or a sleeve.

Why is this box so easy to work with?

I designed this range myself, drawing on my own background as a baker. The lid stays open upright, so you can pipe the cupcakes in the box. The sides click into place without flaps folding inwards, so without the insert a bento cake fits inside. At 10 cm tall there is room for generous toppings and cupcake toppers.

Which boxes match it?

The pink shop window range has the same box for 6 and 12 cupcakes and matching cake boxes, most of them in packs of 10. That way you always pick the size you need without a large stock. Prefer white? Choose the white box for 4 cupcakes.

Material, food contact and disposal

The box and the insert are made of GC2 board; for the box this is 350 g/m². The box is printed pink and varnished; the printing ink does not come into contact with the contents. The window is PET. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as cupcakes with buttercream, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.

Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window from the lid. The box and insert (21 PAP) go with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) and the shrink film around the set with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

Which cupcakes fit in the box for 4 cupcakes?

Standard cupcakes in cases of 51 x 38 mm fit in the 4 round holes of 6 cm. The box is 10 cm tall, so there is room for a generous topping or a cupcake topper as well.

Are cupcake cases or inserts included with the box?

The inserts are: you get 10 boxes with 10 inserts. Cupcake cases, cupcakes and decorations are ordered separately. Order matching cupcake cases with the boxes and you get an extra discount with a bundle deal.

Is the pink colour also on the inside?

The box is printed pink and varnished on the outside. The printing ink does not come into contact with the cupcakes; according to my supplier's declaration the ink does not touch the food.

Can the box with cupcakes go in the freezer?

Yes, according to my supplier's specification this box is suitable for the freezer. Food contact has been assessed at room temperature or colder; oven and microwave are excluded.

How do you dispose of the box?

In the Netherlands the empty box and insert (21 PAP) go with paper and cardboard. Remove the PET window (01 PET) first; it goes with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.
