This pink tall cake box, 28 x 28 x 28 cm, turns handing over a cake into a celebration: the box is printed bright pink and varnished, and through the shop window with its scalloped awning edge in the lid the cake is on show straight away. You order in packs of 10, lids included.

Which cakes is the pink tall cake box for?

For celebration cakes with height: a baby shower cake, a birthday cake with a big topper or a two-tier cake. The cake stands on a 28 cm cake board, and at 28 cm tall there is room for sugar flowers and decoration.

Why is this box so easy to work with?

I designed this range myself, drawing on my own background as a baker. The sides of the base lie flat, so you slide the cake on from the side; then you fold them up and hook the flaps with rounded cut-outs into each other, without tape. Because the box is already pink, a satin ribbon or cord is often all the finishing you need.

Material, food contact and disposal

The base and lid are made of 400 g/m² GC2 board. The outside is printed pink and varnished, the inside is white; the printing ink does not come into contact with the cake. The window in the lid is PET. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as cakes with buttercream or fondant, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.

Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window from the lid. The base and lid (21 PAP) go with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) and the film around the set with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

How do you assemble the cake box?

The sides of the base start out flat. You slide the cake onto the base from the side, fold the sides up and hook the flaps with rounded cut-outs into each other, without tape. Then you put the separate lid with window on top.

Which cake board goes with this cake box?

This box fits cake boards of 28 cm. They are not included and are ordered separately; order one with the box and you get an extra discount with a bundle deal.

Is there also a lower pink cake box?

Yes, the pink cake box of 25 x 25 x 15 cm has the same colour and the same window, for cakes without tall decoration.

Can the cake box with a cake go in the freezer?

Yes, according to my supplier's specification this box is suitable for the freezer. Food contact has been assessed at room temperature or colder; oven and microwave are excluded.
