Red sweet box with clear lid (10 pcs)

This red 25 x 20 x 7 cm sweet box with a clear lid is the classic for Christmas, Saint Nicholas and Valentine's Day. Each pack holds 10 red bases with a loose red insert and 10 clear lids, delivered flat. For cupcakes, add a separate insert for 2 cupcakes to your order.

Why red for the holidays?

Red instantly says Christmas and Valentine's, and in the Netherlands also Saint Nicholas in December. Christmas cookies, spiced biscuits and heart cookies look warm and festive in it, and with a white or gold ribbon the box is ready to give.

Which sweets fit?

Christmas cookies, a handful of chocolates and a few marshmallow stars: red turns it into a festive hamper straight away. Dry treats and chocolate can go straight onto the insert, up to a height of about 7 cm. For moist or greasy sweets such as doughnuts or brownies, first put down a sheet of greaseproof paper. Cupcakes sit securely in a separate insert for 2 cupcakes, which you order separately.

The finishing touch

With box filler in a matching colour the box looks generous straight away, and with a bundle deal you pay less when you order it with the box. A ribbon or sticker finishes it. Prefer another colour? There is also a yellow, pink and white sweet box, or see all sweet boxes with a clear lid.

Material, food contact and disposal

Base and insert are made of GC1 board, printed in colour on one side and laminated with a glossy 25 micron polypropylene (BOPP) film. Your sweets only touch that laminated side. The lid is made of clear PET, 250 micron. According to my suppliers' declarations of compliance, the set is suitable for direct contact with dry food, chocolate and confectionery; the board must not be heated. According to the same suppliers, base and lid meet the PFAS and heavy metal requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40.

Disposal in the Netherlands: base and insert (21 PAP, with a 05 PP laminate layer) go with paper and cardboard, the lid (01 PET) with plastic packaging (PMD) and the kraft paper around the set with paper and cardboard. Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

Yes. According to my suppliers, base and lid may go in the freezer and the fridge when filled. After thawing, keep the box closed for a while so no condensation forms on your sweets.
