Why use a Sinterklaas ribbon on your boxes?

Does this ribbon fray at the sides?

No, the ribbon has a woven edge, so the sides do not fray. The ends you cut yourself can fluff a little, as with any woven ribbon; a diagonal or V-shaped cut looks neatest.

Which boxes suit a 12 mm ribbon?

At 12 mm the ribbon is in proportion with smaller packaging, such as cupcake boxes for 1 to 6 cupcakes, cookie bags, macaron tubes and small gifts. For large cake boxes a wider ribbon usually works better.

Material, food contact and disposal

The ribbon is not intended for direct contact with food. Use it on the outside of a box, bag or film, and do not tie it directly around a cookie or cake.

No, you buy one roll of ribbon of 100 metres. Boxes, bags and other decorations are ordered separately.

Can the Sinterklaas ribbon touch food directly?

No, this ribbon is not suitable for direct contact with food. Only use it on the outside of the packaging.

How many boxes can I decorate with one roll?

That depends on your box size and bow. At 75 cm per box, 100 metres is enough for about 130 boxes.

Does the ribbon fray?

Not at the sides, because it has a woven edge. Only the cut ends may fluff a little.
