Tall cake box 20x20x25 - shop window (10 pcs)

This tall cake box, 20 x 20 x 25 cm, is made for slim, tall cakes: a tall cake, a drip cake or a small two-tier cake. Through the shop window with its scalloped awning edge in the lid, the top of your cake is on show straight away. You order in packs of 10, lids included.

Why a slim tall cake box?

A tall cake of 15 to 18 cm across wobbles in a big box and slides at every corner. In this 20 x 20 cm box it stands exactly in place on a 20 cm cake board, with 25 cm of height for toppers and decoration.

How do you put the cake in without damaging it?

I designed this range myself, drawing on my own background as a baker. You do not have to lower the cake into a box from above. The sides of the base lie flat: you slide the cake onto the base from the side, fold the sides up and hook the flaps with rounded cut-outs into each other. Then you put the separate lid with window on top. Finish the box with a satin ribbon, cord, a themed sticker or a sleeve.

Material, food contact and disposal

The base and lid are made of 400 g/m² GC2 board. The window in the lid is PET. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as cakes with buttercream or fondant, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.

Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window from the lid. The base and lid (21 PAP) go with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) and the film around the set with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

How do you assemble the cake box?

The sides of the base start out flat. You slide the cake onto the base from the side, fold the sides up and hook the flaps with rounded cut-outs into each other, without tape. Then you put the separate lid with window on top.

Which cake board goes with this cake box?

This box fits cake boards of 20 cm. They are not included and are ordered separately; order one with the box and you get an extra discount with a bundle deal.

Does a tiered cake fit in the 20 x 20 x 25 cm tall cake box?

A small two-tier cake fits, if the bottom tier stands on a Ø20 cm cake board and the whole cake, topper included, is no taller than about 25 cm. For larger tiered cakes, choose the 25, 28 or 30 cm box.

Can the cake box with a cake go in the freezer?

Yes, according to my supplier's specification this box is suitable for the freezer. Food contact has been assessed at room temperature or colder; oven and microwave are excluded.

How do you dispose of the cake box?

In the Netherlands the base and lid (21 PAP) go with paper and cardboard. Remove the PET window (01 PET) from the lid first; it goes with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.
