Description

A cookie with a beautiful relief always makes an impression. Yet it is almost impossible to do by hand. That is why I am so happy with the cookie stamps by Le Monde de Mely, a brand that is hugely popular with cookie bakers.

Le Monde de Mely is a French brand from near Strasbourg. They design all their stamps themselves and 3D print them in their own workshop. The choice is huge: Mother's Day, Easter and Eid, but also baby showers, birthdays, weddings and Father's Day. And new collections keep coming. Stamp and cutter in one set

Every design comes in two parts: the stamp with the pattern and a cutter in exactly the same shape. That is what makes it so easy. You cut out your cookie dough with the cutter, and after baking you cut out your fondant with the same cutter. Your fondant always fits your cookie perfectly.

How to use them

  1. Cut out your cookies with the cutter and bake them as usual. Let them cool completely.
  2. Roll out your fondant to about 3 mm thick.
  3. Place the fondant on the stamp or press the stamp into the fondant. Press firmly and evenly.
  4. Carefully lift off the fondant. Now you can see the pattern.
  5. Cut out the shape with the cutter and place it on your cookie.

Make it extra special

Inlay with colour. Would you like several colours? First press small pieces of coloured fondant into the sections of the stamp, for example green for a leaf or lilac for a bow. Trim off the excess and then place your white fondant on top. When you lift it off, the colours sit exactly in the right place.

Painting. Stamping in white fondant? Then you can colour in the details afterwards with edible paint or finish them with a little shimmer.

Wash your stamps and cutters by hand in warm water. Unfortunately they are not dishwasher safe.

Why the PLA version?

In my shop you will find the sets with a PLA stamp, just like the cutter. Le Monde de Mely has declared that these stamps and cutters comply with the European rules for materials that come into contact with food, for brief contact at room temperature.
