XL Number Cake Box 46x32x10 cm with Window (10 pcs)

This XL number cake box, 46 x 32 x 10 cm, is made for number and letter cakes: large enough for two numbers side by side, with a large straight-edged window in the lid. With the notches in the lid you make the box 12 cm tall, for cakes with macarons, flowers or chocolate. You order in packs of 10, lids included.

Why a separate box for number cakes?

A number or letter cake is wide, flat and fragile, and does not fit in a square cake box. This box has a base of 45.5 x 31.5 cm and is sturdy: the base is 550 g/m² board, the lid 400 g/m². On a 45 x 31 cm MDF cake board the cake stays in place; order the board with the box and you get an extra discount with a bundle deal.

To carry cupcakes, order the same box with an insert: the box for 20 cupcakes, or a themed box with mini cupcakes in the shape of a Christmas tree or a heart. The inserts are not sold separately. Without an insert the box also suits a sheet cake, brownies or a large dessert box.

How strong is this box?

This box is a real powerhouse: even a full number cake does not make the base sag. The window deliberately has straight edges rather than an awning shape, so it does not matter whether you place the cake in portrait or landscape orientation. You place the cake on the base and slide the separate lid over it. If the decoration is just too tall, set the lid on the notches and the box is 12 cm tall. Material, food contact and disposal

The box is made of 550 (base) and 400 (lid) g/m² GC2 board. The window is PET. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as number cakes with buttercream or sheet cakes, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.

Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window. The board (21 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) and the film around the set with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

How do you make the number cake box 12 cm tall?

The lid has notches. Set the lid on those notches and it sits higher on the base, making the box 12 cm tall instead of 10 cm.

Which cake board fits in the number cake box?

Can you put cupcakes in it?
