With this box with Christmas tree insert for 30 mini cupcakes you turn mini cupcakes into an edible Christmas tree. The insert has 30 cut-outs of Ø 40 mm in the shape of a tree and sits in a 46 x 32 x 10 cm box with a large rectangular window in the lid. You order in packs of 10: 10 bases, 10 lids and 10 Christmas tree inserts.

How does a box of mini cupcakes become a Christmas tree?

Because together the cut-outs form the shape of a tree. Pipe green buttercream onto the mini cupcakes, add sprinkles or sugar pearls and the tree appears by itself. In December you sell a Christmas product that stands out in the display case and on Instagram, without having to make a separate cake.

How strong is this box?

These boxes are real powerhouses. The board is so sturdy that the insert does not sag in the middle, even with every compartment filled. The window deliberately has straight edges rather than an awning shape, so it does not matter whether you use the box in portrait or landscape orientation. The sturdy 550 g/m² base carries thirty mini cupcakes, the 400 g/m² insert keeps them in place during transport, and with the notches in the lid the box is 12 cm tall. Finish the box with a satin ribbon, cord, a themed sticker or a sleeve. Prefer a heart? Choose the box with heart insert for 29 mini cupcakes; for regular cupcakes there is the box for 20 cupcakes.

Material, food contact and disposal

The base is made of 550 g/m² GC2 board, the lid of 400 g/m² GC2 board with a PET window, and the insert of 400 g/m² GC2 board. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box and insert are suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as cupcakes with buttercream, at room temperature or colder. They are not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.

Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window from the lid. Base, lid and insert (21 PAP) go with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) and the film around the set with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.
