Pink bento box - shop window (25 pcs)

This pink bento box, 16 x 16 x 10 cm, turns a bento cake into a festive gift straight away: the outside is printed bright pink and varnished, the inside is white, and through the shop window with its scalloped awning edge everyone can see what is inside. You choose whether to order in packs of 10 or 25.

Which occasions suit the pink bento box?

A baby shower, a birthday, Mother's Day or Valentine's Day. Because the box is already coloured, you need little extra: a satin ribbon, cord, a themed sticker or a sleeve is enough.

Can you also use it as a sweet box?

Yes. Put a sheet of greaseproof paper on the bottom and fill the box with cookies, brownies or chocolates, with some zigzag box filler in between if you like. At 10 cm tall, stacked cookies or a small mix of treats fit as well.

Why is this box so easy to work with?

I designed this range myself, drawing on my own background as a baker. The box pops up, you click the side flaps in place with small feet at the sides, and the lid stays upright while you fill it. Through the front flap you slide the cake in. Prefer white or red? Choose the white bento box or the red bento box; the pink shop window range has cupcake boxes and sweet boxes in the same colour.

Material, food contact and disposal

The box is made of 370 g/m² GC2 board. The outside is printed pink and varnished, the inside is white; the printing ink does not come into contact with the contents. The window is PET. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as bento cakes with buttercream, cookies or brownies, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.

Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window from the box. The box (21 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) and the film around the set with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

How do you assemble the bento box?

The box is one piece and pops up. You click the side flaps in place with the small feet at the sides, and the lid stays open upright while you fill it. The front flap lets you slide the cake in and out easily.

Which cake board goes with the bento box?

The matching board is the square 16 x 16 cm cake card. It is not included and is ordered separately; order it with the box and you get an extra discount with a bundle deal.

Do I order the pink bento box in packs of 10 or 25?

Both are possible. Packs of 10 are handy if you make a bento cake now and then; packs of 25 if you sell them more often. The box is the same either way.

Can the box with its contents go in the freezer?

Yes, according to my supplier's specification this box is suitable for the freezer. Food contact has been assessed at room temperature or colder; oven and microwave are excluded.

How do you dispose of the box?

In the Netherlands the empty box (21 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard. Remove the PET window (01 PET) first; it goes with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.
