White bento box - shop window (10 pcs)

This white bento box, 16 x 16 x 10 cm, is the calm base for your bento cakes: a clean white box with a shop window with its scalloped awning edge, where your cake takes centre stage. You order in packs of 10, so you do not need a large stock; the 16 x 16 cm cake card is ordered separately.

How does the box work when you fill it?

I designed this range myself, drawing on my own background as a baker. The box is one piece and pops up; you click the side flaps in place with small feet at the sides. The lid stays open upright, and through the front flap you slide the cake on its board straight in without touching the decoration.

Which boxes match it?

The same box comes in pink and red. The white shop window range has cupcake boxes and sweet boxes in the same style, and a bento topper finishes the gift.

Material, food contact and disposal

The box is made of 370 g/m² GC2 board. The window is PET. The board was produced under an FSC label; Cupcakedozen.nl is not FSC certified itself. According to my supplier's declaration of compliance, the box is suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foods, such as bento cakes with buttercream, cookies or brownies, at room temperature or colder. It is not intended for moist, acidic or liquid foods, or for the oven or microwave. The box meets the PFAS requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, and the sum of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium stays below 100 mg/kg.

Disposal in the Netherlands: remove the window from the box. The box (21 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard, the window (01 PET) and the film around the set with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.

How do you assemble the bento box?

The box is one piece and pops up. You click the side flaps in place with the small feet at the sides, and the lid stays open upright while you fill it. The front flap lets you slide the cake in and out easily.

Which cake board goes with the bento box?

The matching board is the square 16 x 16 cm cake card. It is not included and is ordered separately; order it with the box and you get an extra discount with a bundle deal.

Does a bento cake with a topper fit in this box?

Yes. The box is 10 cm tall, so a bento cake with a small topper has room. Through the front flap you slide the cake in without touching the topper.

Can the box with its contents go in the freezer?

Yes, according to my supplier's specification this box is suitable for the freezer. Food contact has been assessed at room temperature or colder; oven and microwave are excluded.

How do you dispose of the box?

In the Netherlands the empty box (21 PAP) goes with paper and cardboard. Remove the PET window (01 PET) first; it goes with plastic packaging (PMD). Elsewhere, follow your local rules.
